The Custom of Epiphany

The “Customs of Epiphany” started at 2023 and is my personal work to record the customs and traditions of centuries still preserved unchanged in the cities and islands of Greece on the days of the Epiphany.

From 5 to 8 January, the Epiphany celebrations in northern Greece are marked by unique and lively customs, especially in Drama and Kastoria. These days include religious ceremonies, traditional music, and local rituals that combine faith with folk tradition, highlighting the strong cultural identity of each area.
